Nanshancun Fm
Type Locality and Naming
The strata were called as the Nanshan unit by the Guangdong Geological Survey Team in 1989. The Guangdong Geological Survey Team (1991) again named it as the Nanshan Formation. The type locality is in the Nanshan Village of Huidong, Guangdong. The key section is the Reshuidong section in the Haifeng County (115º00'E, 22º50'N).
